Solution: subscribe to sites of interest and manage the subscriptions with on a feed aggregator such as Google Reader. Google Reader is another option for maintaining a list of feeds. LibraryThing, Shelfari, and GoodReads are all social sites that allow you to share your reading experiences with friends. All three offer a way to discuss books online. For example, the use of cartographic data from Google Maps can be used with real estate data providing more valuable information to the user looking at buying or renting in a particular suburb. Some great examples of mashups include. Helping New Yorkers find clean public toilets. Finding books on a topic that are less than 200 pages long.

Thursday, 8 April 2010. Thing 23: The Final Thing! From a personal point of view, my three favourite Things were: Twitter, Google Reader, and Delicious. The first two were sites I had previously used - however, this has only increased since starting 23 Things (the number of feeds I am now subscribed to verges on the ridiculous! Especially as it was brilliant to have colleagues involved. The trainees especially seem to have become quite attached to Twitter - and I hope it continues! Tuesday, 6 April 2010.
