5000 Miles From L.A. 5 Things You Must Do in Crete. May 20, 2015. In the very middle of the beloved Mediterranean lies Greece’s largest island – Crete. Crete is a predominantly desert-like island surrounded by clear blue skies and seas. Aside from its geography, Crete’s main city of Chania has some of the oldest streets and buildings in Europe, dating back to the Byzantine era. This is a dream for anyone who fancies walking down narrow alleyways with Grecians drinking, eating, and laughing on the streets.

5000 Miles From L.A. Things to do in Brisbane during a 12 hour layover. June 15, 2015. Australia is a place that I have been dreaming of visiting since I was a child. Here is the cheapest and fastest way to make the most of a short amount of time in one of Australia’s biggest cities. Yes, you read that right). Person...
5000 miles from Worcester - Creative outlet for my travel musings and showcasing my up-cycling projects
5000 miles from Worcester. October 23, 2014. Those that know me, know that for the last 2 years I’ve had a scrappy list stuck to the side of my fridge. That was the before-30 list I created aged 28 facing up to 2 years to go before the world ended (I knew it wouldn’t, but it was my first major birthday ending with a 0! So now I’ve had 6 months to acclimatize to being in my thirties so without wasting any more time wanted to crack on with writing and completing the before-40 list. Go in a helicopter.

Almost 5,000 Miles to Surrogacy
Almost 5,000 Miles to Surrogacy. Friday, February 21, 2014. I began pushing about 9:35. After pushing through a couple contractions the Dr told me that baby's heartrate kept decelerating from around 115 bpm to about 50 bpm with each contraction and recommended I breathe through the next contraction to give baby a rest. By the next contraction there was no telling me to rest, I HAD to push! I was in so much pain that I have mostly blocked that out of my memory already. Who wants to remember that pain?
