Feels good, man. A bittersweet day today: Today I deadlifted 405x10 (at 165lbs) which beats my record of 405x9 before beginning 5/3/1. Today is also the day I leave D.C. to begin a new life. I've lived and worked here (teaching Latin) for 3 years; I will miss both my school and my gym =(.

Assistance work: 7 sets of front squats @ 225lbs. 3 reps per set. Week 1 progress for squats over 8 cycles has thus far been:. 310x6 - cycle 1. 325x10 - cycle 3. 335x8 - cycle 4. 340x10 - cycle 5. 350x10 - cycle 6. 355x10 - cycle 7. 365x10 - cycle 8. 275x5 (gym didn't have 2.5lb plates.). Hill Sprints # 45.

So there is a meet at the end of March and I thought I'd run a cycle of smolov squats and smolov jr. for bench to peak for it. Unfortunately, my right lat is pretty hurt so I dunno if I'll make it through and be ready in time. We'll see. Be back with some updates/vids soon. March 14, 2012 at 11:29 PM. Monday, August 27, 2012. Back Again And Again And Again. Well, I once again fell off the blog posting bandwagon for seven weeks. Whatever, the average readership for this blog is roughly 1 person per month, so nothing lost, other than my records, which I'm keeping elsewhere for the most part anywhere. I was gonna follow up with some Klokovs and back work, but I ate like crap today and squats smoked me, so I'll have to do my Klokov presses tomorrow and other stuff tomorrow after deadlifts.
