I was scared that we would run out of clean water and would have to use rainwater. The cleanest water I had seen before moving to the United States was the water we bought every week from a delivery truck to drink. Scott Fitzgerald was trying to deliver to the readers of The Great Gatsby. Is the point befitting for today’s time. It’s funny because Myrtle would leave George in a heartbeat for Tom, but he would not do the same for her mainly because she doesn’t meet her standards.
