Kelsie, Josh, and I went to The Piano Guys concert last night and it was amazing! They played a mix of Christmas songs (my favorite was Angels We Have Heard on High) and normal songs (my all-time favorite, Love Story Meets Viva la Vida). It hasn't really felt like Christmas to me this season, which is totally my fault, but this concert definitely helped me get on the right track. We ended with everyone singing Silent Night. I went to the Orem Summerfest last night for the first time ever. We ate delicious hot dogs with scones for the buns and then we had funnel cakes. The grasshopper funnel cake is especially good. After going on rides, eating, and looking at all the weird people who come together for this occasion, we left. It was fun and I'd probably go again next year, but I wouldn't get lemonade where they pour tons of cherry syrup into so it is thick and warm. I would definitely skip that part. Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Mother of the year award! Monday of last week, jack started getting a cold with a little fever. Tuesday (our anniversary), paul came home after work with a miserable cold. Wednesday, jack still had a fever (would go down when he had his tylenol), and paul was more miserable than the day before. Friday, 7:37pm.my throat started hurting and my eyes filled with tears:(. Sunday, paul woke up with pink eye in both eyes (ps happy mothers day to me! And my throat had knives running down it.

Saturday, March 28, 2015. A Trip to the Zoo. We finally took Jack to the Zoo, and he loved it! We invited the Hobb's family to come along, and Lucy loved it too. Here are a few memories. Jack asked kids that were crying "hey, why you cryin? Paul and I were standing in line to purchase our tickets, and a really nice man came up to us and gave us 2 adult tickets for free! He and Lucy could not get enough of the animals. A sweet lady came up to Paul and I and gave us 5 train tickets ($2 each).

A Day in the Life of Abby

Friday, November 21, 2014. After a long hiatus from blogging, I'm back with my latest adventure. LONDON! I'll have to add my photos when I get back to the States, but until then, here's what we're up to! We wandered around the park for a while, stopped by the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain, and ended up at the impressive Albert Memorial. All of that walking and jet-lag left us exhausted, so we met back up with the W clan for yummy Indian take-out from Holy Cow (haha). We're on a double-decker bus!

This made me think of Roni Horn, and her series "Some Thames," repeating photographs of that river. Both are slippery, but sparkling.
