Our fruit of the spirit competition has just come to an end. Ronald’s and Sarah’s rooms were the winners, each with over 130 stickers! Each sticker represented one time someone in their room showed love, joy, or any of the rest of the fruits. The kids in these two rooms were ecstatic to hear they had won. Another person I am so happy with is Moses.

A Day in the Life of Abby

Friday, November 21, 2014. After a long hiatus from blogging, I'm back with my latest adventure. LONDON! I'll have to add my photos when I get back to the States, but until then, here's what we're up to! We wandered around the park for a while, stopped by the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain, and ended up at the impressive Albert Memorial. All of that walking and jet-lag left us exhausted, so we met back up with the W clan for yummy Indian take-out from Holy Cow (haha). We're on a double-decker bus!

I love being completely surrounded by mountains. I don't usually like going out and doing something until I am in the middle of it. A little hike with my family was no different so I was reluctant to go. However, it was a beautiful day and it was nice to get out as we watched the sun set all around us before heading home. This made me think of Roni Horn, and her series "Some Thames," repeating photographs of that river. Both are slippery, but sparkling.
