Abroad in New York?: Not Moving
http://abroadin.blogspot.com/2013/04/not-moving.html
Abroad in New York? The chronicle of an ex-expat in New York. Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Things I haven't been doing include reading books, working out and eating fruit. Must get back on the fruit wagon (fruit cart? And back to running, now that it's actually spring. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A- actually, I think there are two As, this is not helpful, one is a boy from my course, the other is a girl from my course. I will from now on distinguish them as AW (girl) and AB (boy). Abroad in New York?: Summer 2013
http://abroadin.blogspot.com/2013/09/summer-2013.html
Abroad in New York? The chronicle of an ex-expat in New York. Tuesday, September 10, 2013. I haven't posted anything since early June. That's a full quarter of inactivity on the blog. Which means that I'm actually living my life? It might be time for another list of things that have happened (this seems to happen most frequently during the summer months, when things get busier). Here goes:. I attended 5 weddings in 5 states. I produced a new works theater festival. I hired a monthly cleaning lady. A- act...
Abroad in New York?: Clarity

Abroad in New York? The chronicle of an ex-expat in New York. Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Two things happened in the past week that have opened up my neuroses a little. First, I was accepted to an artists retreat in Western Massachusetts for 10 days in August. I had been wondering what to do before I start school (had been considering a cross-country road trip) and this is actually perfect. I get to meet new people, commune with nature, and get some serious work done. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
Abroad in New York?: Journaling
http://abroadin.blogspot.com/2013/06/journaling.html
Abroad in New York? The chronicle of an ex-expat in New York. Monday, June 03, 2013. I just spent 20 minutes retroactively filling out a 2013 calendar for the past 2 months. And it looks like I haven't written anything on this blog in that same period of time. What has led to this lack of self-reflection? By someone who claims that it changed her life. Maybe it's time to start and see what all the fuss is about. Then, a weekend in Montauk celebrating a friend's 30th birthday. Next? I have a feeling this ...

Alumni and friends of the sigma delta sorority coalition: aka a (mostly) daily dose of lyon. Tuesday, August 25, 2015. We live in a nice little neighborhood off of Mass Ave. I like it bc we're about a 5 min walk from the Porter Sq T stop - I can be out the door and on the train platform 7 mins door to door but it has a bit of a neighborhood feel despite being off Mass Ave and living in an apt building. It doesn't get much more local than this. :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A cup of jo. Nine liv...

Alumni and friends of the sigma delta sorority coalition: aka a (mostly) daily dose of lyon. Tuesday, May 20, 2014. The first day of the rest of my life. Today I told my boss I want to leave my job so I can move to Boston. Today I took the first step towards listening to my intuition and making a choice bc it's what I want, not bc it's easy or convenient or the only option. Could I have stuck it out? Could I have gritted my teeth and tried harder? Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). You shoul...
Something New: Country 34
http://something-newer.blogspot.com/2013/03/country-34.html
Fun, frolicking, and other adventures in a new city. Mar 26, 2013. This past weekend, I hit country 34, the Czech Republic, with a visit to Prague. Rather than bore you with details, I thought I'd share my trip (with my dad) through pictures. I think I mentioned this, but my goal is to hit 40 countries before I turn 30 this year. I think I should make it! The main square in old town - as my Dad kept saying, the church in the background is like something out of Disney. Dad and I by the bridge. 20-somethin...
Something New: Why not go to Brussels for the Weekend?

Fun, frolicking, and other adventures in a new city. Aug 26, 2010. Why not go to Brussels for the Weekend? Monday is also a bank holiday here. Unfortunately, I have to go to the Netherlands for work on Monday. Should be an interesting meeting AND I get an extra day of vacation later. Given Africa and upcoming time off for Hawaii, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, I could use the extra vacation time. Thursday, August 26, 2010. Aw, thanks Vinnie! August 30, 2010 at 7:35 PM. A'Broad in Amman. 8230;A Journalist's Journey to Jordan. Day 8: A Journalist’s Journey to Jordan. Bull;June 15, 2009 • Leave a Comment. The last morning in Jordan was a hectic mess. I woke up to the sound of my alarm, skyped with my mom, and then ran out the door with my passport in hand and suitcases ready to go. The 12 and a half hour flight back to the United States was not fun, to say the least, but the good company of my trip-mates, a couple glasses of wine, and several slightly mindless movies made...
Abroad in Amsterdam « Jeremy's Amsterdam Journal
Jeremy's Amsterdam Journal. Well I’m finally home and settled. Although it seemed like a dream that came and went, I’ll never forget my time in Amsterdam though. Everyone always asks me, “How was it? Soaking it all up. He was born in Turkey so long ago he can’t remember. Now he rides his steamboat from Spain (impossible) with his white horse Americo and his helpers Zwarte Pieten (literally, Black Petes). Yeah he has little black helpers…. So far this week, I’ve been mainly trying to get all of my e...
