Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!: My Little Dancer
http://abcdugganfamily.blogspot.com/2010/09/my-little-dancer.html
Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Today Landry went to her first dance class! I signed her up for the Pre-Ballet class at Lisa's Dance Connection. It's for 2-3 year olds. This past May, when we went to Bethany's recital, I saw the Pre-Ballet class perform and just knew Landry needed to be on that stage next time! Of course, since her sister dances, she wants to do it, too. Sowhen I told her she was going to get to go to dance class, she was beside herself with glee! Landry stood on her star. Sat on her star.

A Crafty Mom's Blog: July 2009
http://acraftymomsblog.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 12, 2009. You all may have noticed that I have been ridden with another case of "neglectful blogging". While extremely rewarding and a fabulous release for creative energy, blogging is also immensely time-consuming. And while often that is exactly how I choose to spend the very little free time I have, lately I have been choosing to keep myself busy in other, more relaxing and self-reflective ways. What more can a girl ask for? Posted by A Crafty Mom. Links to this post. Also Find Me Here:.

A Crafty Mom's Blog: Easy Woodcut Art Activity
http://acraftymomsblog.blogspot.com/2011/01/easy-woodcut-art-activity.html
Monday, January 24, 2011. Easy Woodcut Art Activity. My grade five class recently read the book "Riding the Tiger". By Eve Bunting. The book is a rich and powerful allegorical story of the allure of the gang. The story is beautifully illustrated with hand-carved woodcut art by illustrator David Frampton. After doing some research, I came across some simple directions to create woodcut art in the classroom using styrofoam plates. Those lines pick up the ink and the part colored in with pencil will not.

Wednesday, September 30, 2009. One a Day Keeps the Doctor Away. We gathered up our 3 Things a couple weekends ago and headed south to the ever-popular Mountain Orchards. To pick and gather ourselves some juicy, sweet apples. We made the trip with our friends (who also happen to be our neighbours . . . how cool is that? Thing 3 had a very bad habit of taking one bite and then throwing the rest of the apple in the bag. She's kinda too cute to stay angry with for long. Is famous for their apple cider donuts...
