Sadly our travels are near an end, and we have to endure the hardship of 5 days relaxation at an all-inclusive resort in Cancun. As surprising as it may be, that really is a shame, Mexico has been good to us, the people crazy but welcoming, and the sites and towns fun, beautiful and intriguing. We managed to arrive at the same time as several coach loads of tours…. damn it! We took our time wandering around and reading all the history behind the site whilst avoiding the tourists. The current there is very strong and they even had a lifeguard at the site – quite unusual around here. Location: Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

After much thought, we decided to visit Xcaret biopark (there were three similar parks to choose from, and we spent some time reading through reviews).
