Our year in India and Nepal. Setting up camp and assessing the damage. June 26, 2015. On May 6 we set up camp at the health center in Balwa village. We piled our stuff and selves into a few vehicles and cheerfully wound our way to the center. Then we set up camp in the backyard of the Dhulikhel outreach clinic serving the people of Balwa. Here is the vew from outside our camp. And as we walked around the village we saw the extent of destruction, which was great. Recycling center opening. →.
