Here i am with a different recipe suggested by hubby, beera tokku attlu or RidgeGourd outer layer Dosa's, generally we peel and throw these outer layer in dust bin, few people will make chutney / pickle with this outer layer but hubby asked me to prepare dosa and here you go with the recipe . What We Need :. Beera Tokkalu / RidgeGourd outer layer - 4cups. Green gram - 1 cup. Green Chillies - 2no. Turmeric Powder - a pinch just for color.

Monday, December 24, 2012. Peanut / Groundnut Chutney. Here i am with a chutney recipe with our favourite peanuts . Mustard seeds: 1/4 spn. Urad dal: 1 spn. A few more of mustard seeds, jeera, urad dal, split red chillies, 1 spn oil for tempering. Salt to your taste. Fry peanuts separately and peel off the layer, this is optional either you can use along with outer layer also. Grease the pan with oil and fry mustard seeds, jeera, chana dal, urad dal, split green chillies. Garelu or south indian donuts.

What We Need :. Sugar - 1/2 cup. Squeeze lemon juice into a tumbler add water and sugar, mix well. Season according to your taste by adjusting sugar and water. If needed add few ice cubes. Sugar - 1/2 cup can be varied according to your taste. Blend all of them together for a smooth juice. Serve by adding few ice cubes . thanda thanda cool cool mango banana milkshake is ready . Here i skipped ice cubes in this as we don't like too cold instead i added some cold milk to them so that its not too cool and also satisfies our taste buds ;).

Monday, November 17, 2014. Here am with a healthy and tasty vada with cabbage. Urad dal - 1/2 cup. Cabbage chopped - 2 cups. Green Chillies - 1no. Ginger - 1 inch piece. Jeera - 1/2 spn. Coriander leaves / Curry leaves. Salt to your taste. Oil for deep fry. Soak urad dal for 4 hrs and grind to paste. Boil chopped cabbage in pressure cooker for 1 whistle. Heat oil for deep frying and take a round ball of the dough on your palm and flatter it. Slowly leave into hot oil as we do for regular vadas.
