Cooking Guy’s Corner. Experiments delights of a culinary explorer. Like any person who likes to spend time in the kitchen, I love to read cookbooks. I love reading food blogs and learning which books are THE ones to have now. It probably started as a little kid, I used to sit in the kitchen and pour over cookbooks when my mom was making dinner. Cooking Guy’s Corner. Experiments delights of a culinary explorer. July 20, 2010. Sun-dried tomato “pesto” bread. Posted by ssterling under Baking. A few weeks back I had a friend over for dinner. I always love the smell of freshly baked bread when having company…so homey. I had seen a recipe on The Knead for Bread. I won’t re-write the recipe for the bread on my site, as you could follow the very clear steps laid out on the original recipe’s site. 4 garlic scapes roughly chopped. 1/4 cup toasted walnuts.

A potential future doctor's musings about life and the mind…. Things I Didn’t Appreciate – the 2011 Version. I’ve had sinusitis/phlegm/hoarseness for three months since my musical ended. Bakerette: Saffron Macarons with Chocolate Ganache
http://bakerette.blogspot.com/2008/05/saffron-macarons-with-chocolate-ganache.html
Saturday, May 31, 2008. Saffron Macarons with Chocolate Ganache. Ever since my visit to the spice market a couple of months ago I have been dreaming about making saffron macarons. I picked up some wonderful quality Iranian Saffron. And just thought it would be perfect to combine this exotic earthy flavor with the light elegant French macarons. It would be like marrying an Arabian prince to a French empress.I'm sure they'd have adorable children! By Tartelette and Lavender Macarons. And I just added a tea...

BG Bears
Custom-made Bears for the loved ones in your life! Monday, September 8, 2008. Meethmmm he has no name yet! I made this bear for my friend, Sarah, who is going to be an auntie in November. She wanted a bear to match the baby's room which is being decorated in a sports theme. We decided on these colors because they were prominent in the bedding. His eyes are sewn on X's instead of using buttons as this is for a baby. Price.$16. Meet Sage and Dotty! Friday, September 5, 2008. Meet the 3 Musketeers! Nan is a...

Just another WordPress.com site. My Cake decorating Kit! My Gallery of Cakes! So this is actually one of my favourite recipes, probably due to the fact that bananas are my favourite fruit….But anyway this isn’t the greatest photo of it because I usually bake it in a rectangular tin, however both do work. 1) Preheat oven to 160 Degrees. 3) Gradually add in the eggs and banana. 4) Add the flour with a sieve. 5) Add Sultanas (Don’t forget to put them in, like I did! Hopefully I will be able to make them thi...
