Saturday, May 9, 2009. Owen is such a good big brother. It's a job he embraced the moment he laid eyes on Henry. He reads to him. Wipes his already clean mouth with a burp cloth. And pats his legs to make him giggle. Playing outsied is a big deal - especially for big brother. Thankfully Grandma made it possible for Henry to 'play' outside during the cold months too. He was completely tuckered out by the time he was put into his snowsuit. Owen, however, was ready and waiting before I could say, 'boo.'.

We said a bittersweet goodbye to the yellow and white stripes of Abby's baby room, and hello to big girl purple! And the highlight - a giant horse decal. Perfect for our little horse-lover. Many hours and achy muscles (mostly for Daddy) later, we're done! Still waiting on a couple of other items for the walls, but the almost-8-year-old is VERY excited. Birthday celebrations next week!
