Baking and Beading

Sunday, November 13, 2016. Chocolate Cookies with Sea Salt Caramel Chips. I usually bake for election night at work. Election night is a long and stressful evening and we always order food. My contribution is baked goods. The tradition continues. I saw this bag of chips as I was shopping at a local grocery store. Sea salt caramel? That sounds like an amazing combination and would be awesome for the night. I was so right. Recipe from the bag. 1/2 C (1 stick) butter softened. 3/4 C packed light brown sugar.

Baking and Beading: Apple Pie Roll-ups, Review

http://bakingandbeading.blogspot.com/2015/05/apple-pie-roll-ups-review.html

Thursday, May 7, 2015. Apple Pie Roll-ups, Review. Do you ever actually make/do things that you pin on Pinterest? I have tried recipes, craft ideas, remodel help and decorating suggestions. This is one recipe that I pinned a while ago. I can't remember the exact site I found it on. As you know I like to try different baking recipes and see how they come out. For the most part I have really liked everything that I have tried from Pinterest. (I did have a donut fail. Recipe not provided for this one. Choco...

Baking and Beading: Dining Room

http://bakingandbeading.blogspot.com/2015/04/dining-room.html

Sunday, April 19, 2015. When we moved into our house 8 years ago there was so much that we just had to change. We liked the house layout and the yard and realized that we could always update the interior. The updates began and never really ended. We are always changing things. We finally arrived to the third stage of the dining room remodel. Is it the last stage? Who knows. I love changing things. And that wallpaper WHAT? We also changed out the light fixture. Love it. Baking and Beading: Donut Failure

http://bakingandbeading.blogspot.com/2013/11/donut-failure.html

Monday, November 18, 2013. You know how I love. To search and search and read and read recipes, I get that from my Grandma, she used to read recipes all of the time. Well, I wanted to try a baked donut recipe. I found one on Pinterest. I know that my parents have donut pans, because I bought them, so I borrowed the pans and tried the recipe. I looked promising when I started. Off to the oven. This is a picture of the 'topping'. It came out awful. It wasn't crumbly. I was just runny and gross.

Baking and Beading: Baseball Season

http://bakingandbeading.blogspot.com/2015/05/baseball-season.html

Tuesday, May 19, 2015. My son has been playing. Baseball for 5 years. Over the 5 years he never really loved it. This season he seems so into it, which makes it so much fun for us to watch and listen to his game recap. I have missed some games over the years because I work nights and weekends. #workingmom :(. I do my best to run to the games and catch as many innings as I can. Here's to a great season. I made him a baseball cake for his 8th birthday. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
