Nordljus: Pâtes à Tartiner
http://www.nordljus.co.uk/en/pates-a-tartiner
Apologies for neglecting my blog once again – it’s been a really busy summer and I’ve been travelling a lot for work. Although I shouldn’t be complaining about being busy, my poor kitchen has also been sadly neglected (I’m the only cook in the house) and I’m hoping to get back to some autumn cooking soon. Before I go off again, I wanted to share an exciting project I worked on earlier this year. I had fun shooting a cookbook. For French publisher Marabout. With the talented food writer Rachel Khoo. Sunday, July 31, 2011. Peyote stitch pattern Beach Series - Sunrise on the Beach. For those of us who are 'morning people,' sunrise at the beach is a favorite time of day. I'll set an alarm just to rise before first light. This, third in the series of beach inspired peyote stitch beaded bracelet patterns, is the result of a walk at sunrise on the beach. Take the walk, in your imagination, as you stitch this stunning, pastel toned bracelet. Coming Soon to my Etsy store. Sunrise on the Beach. Shell Rays pe...

Gonna Bake a Pie: Pie #9: EARL MURDERS ME BECAUSE I’M HAVING AN AFFAIR PIE
http://gonnabakeapie.blogspot.com/2010/06/pie-9-earl-murders-me-because-im-having.html
Gonna Bake a Pie. Slowly baking my way through the pies featured in the movie Waitress. Inventing, editing, bungling, and eating pies to document my summer and fall adventures. I am a 20 year old student who enjoys baking desserts and sharing with her lovely friends, but mostly enjoys consuming these desserts. Pending my inability to acquire a minimum-wage, part-time job (pathetic, I know), I have started this blog project to help me survive my rigorous LSAT study schedule this summer. Baby dont you cry.

Hawaiian Coconut Candy | Lemons and Lavender
http://www.lemonsandlavender.com/2012/01/hawaiian-coconut-candy
January 31, 2012. I’d love to say that our unseasonably warm weather along with the photos brought all of my thoughts right back where I’d left them, but they didn’t. Too much time has passed and too many life circumstances have directed me elsewhere. All I am left with is the memory of sweetened, caramelized, crunchy coconut shavings – any remaining bits of which have also disappeared with the passage of time. I consider it the sweetest of all distractions. Prep Time: 35 minutes. Cook Time: 50 minutes.
