A Tale of Two Needles: Seven Quick Takes Friday – 4
http://kangalu.blogspot.com/2012/02/seven-quick-takes-friday-4.html
A Tale of Two Needles. Friday, February 10, 2012. Seven Quick Takes Friday – 4. Yes, I missed two weeks. No, I don’t really have an excuse, but I’m going to try to justify it anyway. Over the last weekend in January, our daughter was in her high school’s production of “Les Miserables”. She was Little Cosette. Either a) I need to work on my vocabulary or b) I’ve been watching too much of Barney on “How I Met Your Mother”. Silly streaming Netflix! I’m still hooked on “ Downton Abbey. 8221;, and I’m n...

Everlasting Encouragement: June 2016
http://everlastingencouragement.blogspot.com/2016_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 13, 2016. Our Greatest Adventure - Take Two. I haven’t been able to write down anything about my second pregnancy, so I thought I would try to jot down a couple of things. I’ve really enjoyed reading my weekly posts of Roodle’s pregnancy, so it’s really only fair that I write something about the first half of this pregnancy. How We Found Out:. How did we tell the family:. How we told friends:. I told girls night pretty early on since I knew a lot of them had been praying for Husbandy and I&#...

Everlasting Encouragement: October 2015
http://everlastingencouragement.blogspot.com/2015_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 27, 2015. A Year in Photos: Week 41. We changed up Reese's bedtime routine and this is now how she opts to sleep a lot of the time. I'll be the first to admit that we needed to change our routine about a year ago, but it didn't happen and now we're paying for it. Lesson learned! At this point, I really don't care if she's sleeping on the floor, as long as she's sleeping. Miss Christine noticed the chlorine was bothering Reese, so she put goggles on her. Isn't she cute? With the weather b...

Everlasting Encouragement: Reese Speaks
http://everlastingencouragement.blogspot.com/2015/12/reese-speaks.html
Monday, December 21, 2015. I need to start writing more of these down, but here's a conversation I don't want to forget. While coloring together one night:. Me: Reese, what's your favorite color? Do you like red the most, or blue the most, or green the most, or purple the most? R: Ummm, mama the most. December 28, 2015 at 12:10 PM. I need to start writing things down too. Everlasting Encouragement: September 2015
http://everlastingencouragement.blogspot.com/2015_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 11, 2015. A Year in Photos: Week 35. Doing puzzles with Mimi. Reese is really good with puzzles. A lot of the times she surprises me with finding difficult pieces that go together. Of course, other times I try to help her by saying exactly where to put a piece, and then she turns it and tries to fit it. So, it goes both ways, but she loves doing puzzles and I love watching her. :-). Day 243 - 244. Mickey and the gang are all present! Do you see the diaper on Minnie? It took it a little ...

Everlasting Encouragement: Husbandy
http://everlastingencouragement.blogspot.com/p/husbandy.html
Husbandy and I met in 2003 and haven't looked back. We have of course had our ups and downs but I thank God for him everyday. Husbandy is constantly displaying his love for me by being a wonderful husband. Our first little Wagner is expected to arrive July 2nd! Neither one of us could be more excited. I've seen Husbandy get down on the floor and wrestle with my cousins and our neices.I know his love is going to overflow for our future children. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Everlasting Encouragement: A Year in Photos: Week 51
http://everlastingencouragement.blogspot.com/2016/03/a-year-in-photos-week-51.html
Monday, March 7, 2016. A Year in Photos: Week 51. When you're a mom to a little girl, you have to forgot how tender headed you are and let her play. Reese was playing with her Daddy and I heard lots of laughter. I came into the living room to this scene. Reese got a Minnie coloring book from Dad and Cindy and hasn't let anyone else color in it. So, of course it was a big deal when Daddy got the go ahead to color with her. :-). Reesearoo showing off her guitar skills! We didn't think we were going to be a...

Everlasting Encouragement: July 2015
http://everlastingencouragement.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 31, 2015. A Year in Photos: Week 28. I've been making these muffins. For Reese lately. It seems to help the morning go smoother if she has something to eat and these are quick and easy. I should also point out how adorable this dress is! I was surprised to actually get it on Reese because she definitely prefers shorts, but I convinced her by saying we were going to see Jesus. And Reese shouted "YES! Then gave me this smile. Singing on the way to dinner. Merit had a company picnic at White Ro...

The Barefoot and Pregnant Contessa | Delighting in motherhood
The Barefoot and Pregnant Contessa. My baby is a little girl. With two little ones with cascading bedtimes, I no longer enjoy a leisurely bedtime routine with Stella. On the nights when my husband is working late and not able to put Stella to bed, bedtime is often me on the floor reading something with “good night” in the title (. Goodnight Moon, Good Night Gorilla, I Love You Good Night). With Stella in my lap while little Vivi paws at me to hold her. It’s (more…). Starting a baby journal. During one of...

Barefoot and Pregnant
I received great feedback after my last post, so I decided to follow up! I was so amazed by how many of you felt the same way- especially during the winter. One of my readers recommended the book, The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. I ordered it on my iPad right away and got to reading. In what would have normally been a painstaking a complaint filled week, I was able to make it fun and enjoy the special time I had with my kiddos. My husband even noticed that I didn't complain once! I will not turn ...

Tuesday, October 14, 2014. For John's birthday, we went and saw the play, Mary Poppins. The theater here is really first rate. It was fantastic and I think the boys enjoyed it as much as I did. Peyton had been asking a lot about Cody's work and what he does up there. I was thrilled that Cody took him up to work for a few hours one day, which also happened to be when they were having an ice cream party. Isn't it cute that they match? Well, at least I thought so! These guys have been a lot of fun lately.
