Thursday, February 17, 2011. Sorry I haven't posted in a few days! We've been busy bees this month. I started my personal training school, which is going great! I'm learning a lot about muscles! I also got connected (via Ricky's colleague) to a recently-retired Olympic athlete. Paul Burgess just started his own gym after spending two decades competing in professional athletics. including the Olympics! He's a very cool guy and so is his gym! Also, the boys are home! Our fav Aussie beer is James Squire.

Sunday, July 31, 2011. Summer in the States. We made our first trip back home since we moved to Perth last October. We scheduled the journey around the perfect time . summer in Tulsa and 4th of July (my fav)! We stayed in Tulsa for the majority of the time, made two trips up to Grand Lake and spent a wonderfully hot, few days in Dallas. So if you're reading this and thinking, damn I didn't get to see them. Don't you fret, there's a Qantas ticket with your name on it. Haha. Please do come! Floatin on a me...

Wednesday, December 29, 2010. A Very Beachy Christmas. Christmas Day in Perth was a scorcher! High was around 37 degrees Celsius, which translates to about 98 degrees Fahrenheit. While at home in the states, everyone was enjoying 37 degrees Fahrenheit! At 37, the best way to spend the day is on the beach or in the air con. And that's exactly what we did! Monday, August 22, 2011. If You Give a Dog a Bone . You'll have a HAPPY HOUSE! Ricky and I went to the Farmers Market in Subiaco this Saturday. We try to go every week for the freshest fruit and veg. A new vendor opened this week and they sell healthy lean beef straight from the farm! We found Fred Flintstone bones for the dogs. So fun to watch them devour the marrow off these bones! It made for a great, relaxing Saturday! Happy Spring in Perth! Which officially starts Sept 1). Saturday, August 13, 2011.

Friday, August 12, 2011. The weather has been ideal for running outdoors! I'm normally a treadmill runner (gasp). But when Adele came to visit in July, she encouraged me to hit the pavement! She pushed me to run faster and longer. I was definitely stuck in a yogging rut and this half-marathoner got me out! Since she left, I've only run on the treadmill twice.
