As we were ferried to Alcatraz, we got a stunning view of the Golden Gate Bridge! One of the Alcatraz cells. Pretty cozy, right? We did an audio tour of Alcatraz and got to hear first hand stories from prisoners and guards! San Francisco skyline as seen from Alcatraz. Sunday, March 4, 2012. Sad to say goodbye, Hawaii! This week has gone by so quickly and it is true, that once you come to the islands you do not wish to leave! I want to thank each of the RYE Florida students, as well as our RYE students from New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
