Sunday, March 4, 2012. Sad to say goodbye, Hawaii! This week has gone by so quickly and it is true, that once you come to the islands you do not wish to leave! I want to thank each of the RYE Florida students, as well as our RYE students from New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia. We have marvelous memories to take with us, but more importantly we have new friendships! Thank you, Belo, for an amazing experience and memories to enjoy for a lifetime! Belo USA Travel Inc. Thursday, March 1, 2012. DIAMOND HEAD and SHOPPING! Today was our 4. Full day already. Time is flying so fast here on this wonderful island. The plan today was hiking so we started the day with a big and fat breakfast to get some energy. We had to hike to the top of a mountain called Diamond Head and it was pretty intense. By the time we got to the top, everyone was exhausted and sweaty.But up there the view was beautiful and it was totally worth our effort! We are so happy to be here! Thank you Belo USA!

After the amazing breakfast we headed toward the Pearl Harbor Memorial which is towards the South side of the island. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Our Tuesday at the Beach! This morning started with another amazing breakfast. We drove to Pali Lookout and saw an amazing view of Hawaii! It was so good to take pictures, but also very windy! Next we went to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.Kailua! Saturday, March 3, 2012. Last full day with our 'Ohana'! The early birds who came out for the sunrise :). Then we went and relaxed at Hanauma Bay. One of the most beautiful places we have been. As we were ferried to Alcatraz, we got a stunning view of the Golden Gate Bridge! One of the Alcatraz cells. Pretty cozy, right? We did an audio tour of Alcatraz and got to hear first hand stories from prisoners and guards! San Francisco skyline as seen from Alcatraz. HAWAII EXPEDITION 2011

April 2- April 9 2011. April 8, 2011 Snorkeling, Diamond Head and Luau. OUR LAST FULL DAY IN HAWAII! As always our breakfast is super. The fruit bowl was a favorite! And of course always drank plenty of coffee. Today we had the two activities we did the other day. Some of us went snorkeling at Hanauma Bay and the others went on a hike up Diamond Head! The day started out overcast and even rainy! Some of us lucky students got to see sea turtles coming to the reef to eat! It was seriously a perfect day!
