Lane Family: December 2007
http://lane-fam.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Fun thoughts and musings from Michigan. Thursday, December 27, 2007. It's hard to believe that this was Jeremy's third Christmas. He's getting so big and greets everyone he meets with "Merry Christmas! Ho, ho, ho! The holiday celebrations started with a visit to the Smith's house in Battle Creek to see Lara's friend Meredith and her husband David. Jeremy quickly adapted to the situation and even coerced Mr. Smith to read him some stories. Sunday, December 16, 2007. Santa Claus" comes to town. While they ...

Lane Family: February 2008
http://lane-fam.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Fun thoughts and musings from Michigan. Tuesday, February 12, 2008. Getting him here - Lara's version. We took a Lamaze class when I was pregnant with Jeremy and they suggested that as soon after delivery as possible you write the "birth story". It seemed odd when they said it but made complete sense after I had him. So, here is my version of Ryan's journey into this world. I had been brushing up on my labor and delivery information that week and had just read the previous night that pain in the lower ab...

Lane Family: June 2008
http://lane-fam.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Fun thoughts and musings from Michigan. Monday, June 30, 2008. Tuesday, June 17, 2008. One of the great things about having kids is that you get an extra built in holiday that celebrates being a father. It's great because you can hang out with other fathers and still be celebrating. Anyhow, I made sure to have lots of fun and enjoy my third Father's Day. Wednesday, June 11, 2008. Ryan's 4 month check up was this week and it turns out that he is huge! Well, not really but he is pretty tall. He is 27 i...

Lane Family: Haircuts!
http://lane-fam.blogspot.com/2008/10/haircuts.html
Fun thoughts and musings from Michigan. Saturday, October 4, 2008. Jeremy doesn't like to have his hair cut. In fact, he hates it. We've tried all the tricks: no clippers, no cape, movies on TV, professional hair cutters, amateur hair cutters, candy, discipline and threats of bodily harm. But none of these worked until we went to Cookie Cutters. Love the kids' haircuts and the stylist's t-shirt. Who knew this was the secret to success.Love, Grandma and Grandpa in California. http://lane-fam.blogspot.com/2008/10/cheerios.html
Fun thoughts and musings from Michigan. Friday, October 3, 2008. We finally gave Ryan Cheerios last night. They went over very well! Sunil makes that same face when he chomps on cheerios. Unlike his dad and aunt, I hope Ryan doesn't start his day with a beverage from the Coca Cola Company. October 3, 2008 at 6:45 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Lane Family: Visit with Santa
http://lane-fam.blogspot.com/2008/12/visit-with-santa.html
Fun thoughts and musings from Michigan. Sunday, December 7, 2008. The boys visited with Santa at Briarwood mall today. Ryan didn't cry until after they took the picture and Jeremy smiled nicely because we bribed him too. He wouldn't sit on Santa's lap but I was thrilled that he got as close as he did. While we were driving to the mall Jeremy announced "I want to show Santa our new Ford Flex". Evidently Santa needs to ditch those reindeer and get a real ride. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

At last we arrived at the family farm and prepared for Dress Shopping and the family camping trip. Both of which were resounding successes. We spend an extra day at Buckhorn State Park. Everyone got along. Val skiied! How did that happen? I have t...
