Thursday, January 15, 2015. I was really looking forward to participating in "Tammy 4 All Seasons" and got an early start in mid-December with pauses for holiday commitments. Not to worry.plenty of time to finish well before my "due date". And, somewhere in this saga, I have damaged a retina! So I am showing you my failure at finishing this project. I chose to make a ruffle, rather than box pleats.again because I could do it at the hospital. Please visit the rest of our "Tammy 4 All Seasons" participants...

Friday, October 31, 2014. BOOgie Fever Table Runner. Here are the drawings for the fiends on the BOOgie Fever Table Fever. They can be copied onto 8.5"x11" paper then enlarged by 25%. Finished sizes are approximately 12" tall. For the women's mouths I fused a white (teeth) fabric piece on top of a slightly larger red fabric piece (lips), then fused it to the face. Details like the eyes, Mummy's bandages, Wolfie's nose, and Frank's and his bride's stitches were drawn on with a permanent black marker.

Sunday, November 23, 2014. A Very Grumpy Christmas. I can finally post about a gift finish that I stitched. Yes, it's Grumpy Cat, all ready for Christmas. Just look at him. Even the joyous Christmas season can't get a smile out of this guy. He does look cute though. I stitched him for a fellow stitcher who was having some surgery. I'm happy to say that the surgery was a success and my stitcher friend was delighted with Grumpy! The chart is a freebie from Brooke's Books. Friday, November 14, 2014. Was kin...

We had a wonderful time catching up and laughing at silly things. Peggy brought a delicious dessert for us - icebox key lime dessert. Oh, and whipped cream which she made by hand. With a whisk. She is one talented baker. On to the "cool" bead project that I did yesterday. Ha ha, "cool", get it? Where I show ...

Friday, January 30, 2015. Latest and last of Hawaii. Some where in blogland, some one had issued a challenge to keep count of how many spools of thread you finished off in a year. I finished 16 spools. I use a variety of threads and colors. I am pleased that I used up this many spools. I made the blocks and put this little quilt together. Still have a bunch for the finishing. I think this is a cute quilt for the after Christmas wintertime. The Hawaiian quilts are amazing. This us the Ohi'a. Here is the c...
