A milk chocolate and white chocolate clarinet on top with music notes and "Happy Birthday" wrapping around the music staff on the side. If you can't tell, the cake is sitting on an upside down dinner plate; I didn't even have a turntable or a cake board. I've learned a lot since then! So, when I was asked to make another clarinet cake, I was really excited! I think the cake was a hit!

Original recipe via www.bbcgoodfood.com. 2 tbsp olive oil. 1 onion, finely chopped. 2 tbsp medium curry powder. 1 tsp cumin seeds. 1 tsp mustard seeds. 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into bite size pieces. 500 ml vegetable stock. 1 can chopped tomatoes (400g). 1 can chickpeas (400g). 1 cup frozen peas. Thursday, 16 February 2012. Strawberry and Chocolate Ganache Mini Cucakes. 30ml Creme de Cassis. 200g self raising flour. 60g of strawberries finely chopped. Slices of strawberries to decorate. First make the chocolate ganache, heat up the cream to a boil. Add the boiling cream to chocolate, honey and butter and mix until everything is melted. Allow to cool then add the crème de cassis. My lovely bosses, Elijah and Rhonda, invited Hugh and I to a picnic on the river near Black Mountain, NC. So sunny and relaxing and picturesque! It's a shame the water looks so brown!
