Wednesday, January 30, 2013. We decided to potty train Luke the week after Christmas. Actually, we started the day after Christmas. We set up camp in the kitchen . complete with an Elmo potty book, a stack of underwear and a giant bag of M&Ms. (Chocolate is Luke's love language.). As we did with Claire and David, we went with the "cold turkey" method of potty training found in this e-book. And one month later, that little potty is still sitting in my kitchen! If you would like some encouraging words befo...

This page includes links to all of the recipes on my blog. This is really more of a reference page for me than anything else. (I'm tired of searching my blog for a particular recipe.) Most of these recipes are not mine. I'm not that creative in the kitchen. The links on my blog link to the blog or website where I found the recipe so that credit is given where credit is due. Bread machine wheat rolls. Pumpkin chocolate chip muffins. Feta black bean dip. Chocolate chip bundt cake. Ham and cheese quiche.

Sunday, March 31, 2013. Lyrics from one of my favorite songs from worship today:. There is a love that came for us. Humbled to a sinner's cross. You broke my shame and sinfulness. You rose again victorious. Faithfulness none can deny. Through the storm and through the fire. There is truth that sets me free. Jesus Christ who lives in me. You are stronger, You are stronger. Sin is broken, You have saved me. Is is written, Christ is risen. Jesus You are Lord of all. No beginning and no end. Excerpt from The...
