Thursday, May 2, 2013. Chawal ki roti(chilka roti)(Rice pan chapati). Here is the recipe, hope you like this roti recipe from jharkhand,India. Yields- 8 medium size roti. Preparation time- 2 minutes (Grinding). Cooking time- 1and 1/2 minutes(each roti). Rice(Arwa chawal) - 300g. Soak the rice and chana dal overnight or for minimum 5 to 4 hours. Drain the water and then grind this into fine paste by adding little water. Once you have grinded the rice and chana dal,add salt as per taste. Season with salt .

Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onion. Saute for a while and add green chilli, chopped turmeric powder, pepper powder and garam masala. Add salt and shredded chicken. Stir and close and low the flame and cook for 5minutes. Then add coriander leaves and switch off the flame. Take the bread crumbs and keep aside.

Flour : 1 tbsp. Cornflour : 1 tbsp. Black pepper : 1/2 tsp. Red chilli flakes : 1/2 tsp. Soy Sauce : 1 tsp. Oil : 2-3 tbsp. Ginger : 1tsp (crushed). Garlic : 1 tsp (crushed).
