Sunday, March 16, 2014. January and February are kind of quiet months around here. Just trying to find a new normal after the busy holiday season and the cold weather doesn't help! Back in January, Addie had been begging us to let her have a party with some friends. Apparently, we "never" let her have them. We looked at the calendar and saw that Valentine's Day was going to be on a Friday this year and thought it would be a good reason to have a party! We just kept playing till someone got blackout.

Friday, November 30, 2012. Now that Thanksgiving is over, it's time for the next holiday.CHRISTMAS! We started with the tree on Friday. Our elf, Chimnick, came back from the North Pole on Saturday morning. And Christmas would not be complete at the Blackham house without the leg lamp. This year, Clay decided to go all out and had a leg lamp "lighting" party. He spent most of the afternoon making his famous homemade donuts for it! It was a fun time! Friday, July 13, 2012. As if we didn't have enough going on during the 4th of July weekend, we decided we'd go ahead and bless Sam that Sunday while we had family in town. Clay did a great job with the blessing and Sam was a perfect little angel.slept right through it! We came back to our house and had lunch out in the backyard after. Monday, January 30, 2012. We celebrated Clay's birthday this month! Since his birthday was on a Sunday, it was kind of a birthday weekend! Grandma and Grandpa watched the kids on Saturday afternoon so we could hit a matinee movie and then met up with some friends for dinner at Salt City Burger Co. It was nice to get out without the kids for a bit and they had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa! Will gave him a Star Wars Lego set and Addie gave him a Darth Vader shirt that says, "Who's your Daddy?

Friday, August 24, 2012. Sam turned two months in August. The first few months are pretty much a whirlwind for me. They grow and change so quickly. He had to go in for his two month appointment and he was 10 lbs. 4 oz (18th%), 23" long (50th%), and his head was in the 60th%! So, he is following suit with his brother and sister.long and lean and a big head! Poor little thing had to get shots- but he handled it like a champ! He hates the car, but he's starting to get a little better in that he's not ALWAYS...

It wouldn't be a trip to Ithaca without a morning of baking with Grandpa! This year, the boys requested making whoopie pies; Sam helped make red velvet flavored ones, and Jack helped make chocolate with peanut butter filling. They had a lot of fun and ate a lot of dough and icing throughout the process! The end results were delicious!
