Our friend Maddox was there as well because we were watching him for the afternoon. Aaron and Maddox had a great time playing catch and running around on the field. The everyday adventures of Chris, Amy, Connor, and Aaron! Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Today was Donelson's Field Day! We started the day with a picnic lunch on the lawn outside the green hallway, then I got to lead Connor and ten of his classmates through the game stations. The kids had a great time with each of the games, and Connor especially enjoyed the water relay and obstacle course. I'm so glad I got to spend the afternoon with Connor and his friends! The everyday adventures of Chris, Amy, Connor, and Aaron! Saturday, May 2, 2015. Today we went to the "touch-a-truck" event at the Germantown Library. They had all sorts of vehicles that the kids could touch and climb on - ambulances, FedEx truck, garbage truck, MLGW truck, racecars, police cars, and more! They especially liked testing the horns in the trucks and playing catch with the police dog. They also had a book sale, and the boys loved picking out some "new" books! The giant crane / hauler truck.

Chris was able to leave word early enough to help with Connor's class Harvest Festival. He played fun games, made a craft, and enjoyed spending time in class with his Dad. Today, Aaron and I took Grammy and Pop-Pop to the Pink Palace for the first time. They really liked reading about the history of Memphis, seeing the exhibit about the making of the Vietnam Wall, and letting Aaron show them around the museum. The everyday adventures of Chris, Amy, Connor, and Aaron! Saturday, May 30, 2015. St Louis Magic House. We spent Tuesday morning at the Magic House while Papa was at a doctor's appointment. It is an awesome children's museum (and free for military! We will definitely be back soon! The boys made paper flowers and Chinese character artwork with the help of an exchange student from China. Always a favorite - the construction area! Grooming the cats at the vet's office - with a real air hose! Look at my hair!

The everyday adventures of Chris, Amy, Connor, and Aaron! Thursday, April 30, 2015. Here are a few photos from random April events. Connor's message to us on our kitchen window :). New shirts for church! Aaron was very proud of this whale he made at preschool. Hugs from Miss Diaz at Arlington in April! We had fun last Saturday morning walking around Depot Square, riding on the train, and watching the metal forging demonstration. We love to play lacrosse in the front yard. This kid is an awesome bike-rider.

After church, I got to go to a craft fair at a downtown museum and lunch in Overton Square with six of my mommy friends.
