Wednesday, February 5, 2014. 1 lb lean ground beef. 1 C Chopped onion. 1/2 C Chopped celery. 46 oz (almost 6 C) tomato juice. 1/2 T chili powder. 1 t fennel seed. 1/2 C uncooked barley. In medium skillet, saute the meat, onion, and celery until the meat is browned and the vegetables are translucent. Drain off excess fat. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Freeze. To serve: Thaw. Bring to boil on stove. Reduce heat, and simmer for 30 Min. OR cook in slow cooker on low for 3 hours.

Monday, June 30, 2008. Just an update.We're busier than ever right now. On top of moving, we have Jackson's birthday tomorrow.July 1st. He is turning 5! I can't even believe he's already 5.How time flies. We had his party this past Friday (pictures to come). That took some planning, but we got through it and had a ton of fun. Tuesday, October 25, 2011. I have always had small dogs. And they just don't slobber the way a BIG dog slobbers. Let's just say.Boy does Waylon slobber. Anytime we are in the kitchen and there might be food involved.Waylon slobbers. Heck! It you open anything in plastic the dog slobbers. And his slobber forms the spit bubbles out of the corner of his mouth and most times there is a long string of spit hanging from his mouth. We love you Waylon.and your slobber makes you YOU! Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Anna's hair is short. Not because I cut it, although that is what most people think I do. It just doesn't grow. Kiah's hair was late and slow at coming in as well, but not as slow as Anna's. I didn't realize how slow until I was looking at pictures today and realized how much shorter her hair is. She impresses me with the number of things she balances, and her willingness to put herself out there. This year Kiah decided to audition for The Music Man. She was cast as one of the town kids.
