Chris staggers into #Janathon. Janathon Day 29: A tale of 2 worlds. January 29, 2015. More meetings today, this time in the Preseli hills at Crymych. A beautiful area but being higher up rather susceptible to the elements. This was nicely illustrated when it started snowing at lunchtme. Meanwhile home and the rest of Pembrokeshire remained resplendent in greenery. So it was gym circuits today and hiefully a run with the CVPs tomorrow🙂. 160 steps x 2. 2 x car washes. Possibilityno chance of lunch for Matt.

Just another WordPress.com site. Don’t they all blur into one? My journey to the Cowell Club (part 1) →. Tonbridge parkrun … at which I finally earned my place in the Cowell Club. November 9, 2013. I didn’t oversleep my alarm*, my car did not break down, I did not get stuck in traffic, I did not forget my barcode and I did not lose a foot or break an ankle on the way round. All in all, a lovely way to bring up my touring 100. Did I mention that I’m still grinning? Waterlogged, extremely squishy, fun.

Monthly Archives: July 2013. Day 30 1 Juneathon. Day 30 1 Juneathon. My Juneathon days are all over and done. It really has been lots of fun. I’ve walked, jogged, done Pilates and run. I’ve Body Pumped, Body Sculpt, played Badminton. I’ve danced to Zumba class and cycled like mad. I’ve even rowed although that turned out quite bad. I’ve exercised pretty hard every day. The variety mix just the right way. My body has stood the test of time. Even though I’m well in my prime. This Head Can Run.

Juneathon 2015 Day 30 Juneathon Ends, The Heat Wave Begins. Asymp; 1 Comment. I worked a 16 hour day today and arrived home with only an hour of full daylight left. I was also running on empty having not eaten since 9am. I opted for a 5.5 mile gentle cycle ride, seeing out Juneathon with a whimper rather than a bang. Married, 2 sons, 3 grandchildren (gorgeous). Took up running 3 weeks before my 60th birthday using NHS C25K, a smashing way to learn how to run. 2 years down the line I'm stilling running and enjoying it, visit a gym 4 times a week and hope to be able to continue for many years to come. Day 29 Juneathon →. Raquo; Day 28 Juneathon. I’ve just got back from the gym and have to say I felt a bit of a fraud after my Body Pump class. But first I did the Evergreens 55 minutes low impact. Nice and gentle, it gets the body moving without too much effort applied. Perhaps it’s time for me to leave this class and move into the gym.
