Beat two egg yolks. Add the juice and grated rind of one lemon. Add flour mixture and continue to beat. Stir in milk. In a separate bowl, beat two egg whites until stiff but not dry. Wednesday, December 17, 2008. I originally made these to celebrate my sister-in-law adopting a baby from Russia. Now they've found a place in my recipe box because they are so good! They're pretty cookies, so they are good for Christmas plates. 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar. 2 1/4 cups flour. 3/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts. 1/3 cup confectioner's sugar for decoration. Combine all ingredients, mix well. Refrigerate dough until well chilled. These are just the cutest things! 6 oz almond bark, chopped.

I try to make them on birthdays and other holidays, and also when we have company. 4 1/2 cups flour. 1/2 cup white sugar. 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast. 1/4 cup butter, melted. 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed. Microwave milk and butter in a glass dish for 30 seconds. Pour into bread maker. Follow with salt, eggs, flour, sugar and yeast, in that order. Mix on dough cycle.
