Cooking with LT

Thursday, April 6, 2017. So hopefully I will be back with a recipe soon. Thursday, July 9, 2015. I am back today with a dinner we've made a few times since it posted on Kate's Recipe Box. Back in April. These chickpea burgers are delicious! Pregnancy has brought on a major aversion to chicken, so I was excited to get a buffalo fix in another way. We didn't miss the meat with these burgers! They aren't grill friendly without a pan, so they might be the perfect lunch or dinner solution on a rainy summer day.

Cooking with LT: Crockpot Chicken Gyros

http://cookingwithlt.blogspot.com/2014/01/crockpot-chicken-gyros.html

Thursday, January 2, 2014. I knew it would be a winner in our kitchen. I immediately doubled that recipe to yield more leftovers that we could enjoy in more wraps and over salads. This reheats well, and I think it would freeze well too. I need to find a good, authentic Greek style pita option to enjoy these in. Maybe I'll have to look into making my own. 2 pounds chicken breasts (frozen works well here, no need to thaw). 6 cloves garlic, minced. 8232;1/2 cup fresh lemon juice. 1 onion, diced.

Cooking with LT: Creamy Veggie Noodle Soup

http://cookingwithlt.blogspot.com/2014/02/creamy-veggie-noodle-soup.html

Thursday, February 13, 2014. Creamy Veggie Noodle Soup. This soup is a wonderful treat for a chilly day. Using my perfect rationale, the vegetables make this cream good for you. The chicken broth balance keeps the dish from climbing too high in calories. I found this recipe on Stephanie Cooks. Back in the fall. We've enjoyed it many times since. 1 cup medium-sized pasta (we used shells), cooked and set aside. 1/2 medium yellow onion, finely diced. 2 ribs celery, finely diced. 2 carrots, peeled and diced.

Wednesday, March 26, 2014. I was so excited to find blood oranges a few weeks ago. They were even on sale! I don't usually see them at the grocery store I frequent so I scooped them up and started searching for recipes. Elly's. For the chicken, you will need:. 1 teaspoon blood orange zest
. 1/4 cup freshly squeezed blood orange juice. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 8232;3 cloves garlic, minced. 8232;2 tablespoons cilantro
. 1 jalapeño, chopped and seeded (can keep seeds for a bit more heat). I followed Elly's ...

Cooking with LT: Buffalo Chicken Quinoa

http://cookingwithlt.blogspot.com/2014/01/buffalo-chicken-quinoa.html

Sunday, January 12, 2014. Made this with the Frank's extra hot. It was just too much for me, especially when reheated. I'll stick with the delicious tang of buffalo wing sauce. This recipe was a Pinterest discover from Half Baked Harvest. 1 cup quinoa (be sure to rinse it well before cooking). 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into bite size pieces. 1 cup broccoli florets. 1 cup shredded carrots. 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles, plus more for serving. 4 green onions chopped, divided. 3 Remove th...

30 minutes or less. 30 minutes or less. March 11, 2011. I know many girls who were in Girl Scouts from kindergarten all the way till they turned 18. I however was never a “lifer”. I seemed to fall in and out of Girl Scouts. I kind of remember joining when I was really young…but mostly all I remember was the girl I sat next to couldn’t eat eggs…so I ended up getting to have her snack as well as mine (Score! Click HERE to Subscribe. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Sausage and Apple-Stuffed Acorn Squash Weekly Menu. October 30, 2011. I see an acorn squash and I have immediate flashbacks to childhood when my mom would prepare them. On occasion. And also with lots of butter, lots of brown sugar, lots of maple syrup, and a healthy dose of pecans. And that was dinner. My point is, when I see an acorn squash, my initial thought is sweet…not savory. Sausage and Apple-Stuffed Acorn Squash. 2 large a...
