Mexican Potsticker Recipe

This recipe is a traditional hot water potsticker dough filled with refried beans, cheese and a bit of salsa. It is cooked in the traditional potsticker method of frying the bottom of the assembled potsticker and then steaming until the dough is cooked and the filling is heated enough to fully melt the cheese. 4 cups all-purpose flour. 1⁄2 teaspoon salt. To make the dough, bring water to a boil. In a large stainless steel bowl, combine the flour and salt. Slowly add the boiling water in 1 ⁄.

Our adventures cooking … and other fun stuff. 2 cups of minute rice and 2 cups of water. Cook the minute rice according to the package directions. If you don’t want to use minute rice you can use any rice. I think you will need 3-4 cups of cooked rice. Once the rice is done let it cool. To the cooled rice add:. 1 cup finely chopped celery. 1 medium sweet onion finely chopped. 1 small sweet bell pepper finely chopped (i used orange pepper as i had one in the fridge). 1 tin of mushrooms. 1/2 tsp dry mustard.
