Saturday, April 12, 2008. Grand Canyon Trail Run. I ended up driving more than twice as long as running today, but it was definitely worth it! The Bright Angel trail is the heavily used touristy trail.and there were alot of folks on it today. it is also less steep (but a little longer) than the Kaibab, so it makes sense to head up this way. Water is also available at the Indian Garden (11mile mark) so definitely best to have this at the end of the day, instead of 4.5 miles in! Just dreaming of this run.

Sunday, May 4, 2008. Tri for your Cause race report. Today i raced in the Tri for your Cause. Yeah i just cited wikipedia. The swim itself was uneventful luckily, but i was pretty slow without a wetsuit and suffering in the cold. In action (or inaction.). Oh yeah, this is for Jen. It happens to all of us. Triathlon Training That Only A Mother Could Love. Tuesday, July 08, 2008. I've spent the last month of Wednesdays going to the track to do some speed work. I've had days where I've felt good and some where I've struggled to finish. Over all, I am seeing improvement in my run splits which always makes it all feel worth while. Oh, can't believe I almost forgot! Much like everyone else does, cause the French suck (despite their stage 3 performance). Any way, off to bed, cause I'm friggin tired.

Well, the date hasn't been set, but the decision was made today that the next event will be called the Budweiser Clamato 5K of Fury. Yeah, Budweiser in all their wisdom has come up with a Beer with clam juice and tomato juice. I get shaky just thinking about it. I'm glad I dogged the last bit of that run because there's no way in hell I'm drinking that stuff. Dude that is freaking awesome!
