Reflections on pedagogy #FDOL141. Collaborative learning and communities →. Flexible Learning in the Digital Age. February 28, 2014. In this segment, I should explore the drivers behind flexible, distance and online learning. The benefit of being online is certainly as aspect of flexibility. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Monthly Archives: March 2014. March 19, 2014. As I am investigating the field, I found this pyramid that visualizes the concepts in a simple, yet adequate way. It describes the different levels of access, skills and practices in the process of mastering digital technologies. This is demanding since it differs in many ways from how learning (teaching) used to be structured when we went to school (at least for most of us). Next topic coming up soon. On Co...

Skip to primary content. February 23, 2014. Now here I am; blogging. Tweeting. Interacting and communicating via computer. Trying to find a balance between time in real life and time online, worlds merging. Easy access to information and immense opportunities for networking being the major advantages, I more and more find the need to step back, shut the electronic devices down and be present. IRL. Or is it actually stressing me out. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. February 27, 2014 at 10:32 am.

Creating in Carolina
Mums and moms love their flowers. I've taught my family "this mom" loves receiving flowers in a pot so they can continue to grow and I can also plant in the garden to enjoy the rest of the year or even next year if they are perennials. My mom was a long standing member of a community garden club so she's the one that taught me the beauty of flowers and arrangements. I'm spotlighting another Sassy Cheryl. This little image is Polly's Pink Flower. And can be found at Paper Creators. I'm Late, I'm Late.

Monday, April 7, 2014. I'm a big fan of using tools as many ways as possible. Sometimes, there really is only one way to use them, but when you can use a stamp or ink pad in multiple ways, then that makes them so much more useful. I saw this technique on the Scor-Pal site I think and used it on a card, but then thought I'd do it on a larger scale on a scrapbook layout and I was happy with how it turned out. It filled the space which is sometimes a struggle for me. Monday, March 31, 2014. Well, I got a to...

Creating in Colour
Saturday, 1 August 2015. A year ago today we took a cab to the hospital at around 8am to have an induction and get labour started. I don't remember vividly that morning; the only thing I knew for sure was that I thought we had waited long enough (too long! It was a strange feeling, different from what I experienced the first time around; it was love at first sight. So here you are, one year later, walking, talking, laughing and making our lives full. Happy first birthday my sweet little one! I'm currentl...
