The culinary adventures of an IBS-afflicted foodie. Cheesy Baked Crab and Spinach Dip. It is incredibly easy to whip up, and I always have these ingredients on hand. I definitely don’t miss the cream with this recipe, and even if I weren’t on the fodmap diet, this is certainly a much lighter, healthier option than my usual dip. 1 120g drained crab meat. 2 tbsp lactose-free greek yogurt. 2 tbsp light Hellmann’s mayonnaise. 1/2 c 1 tbsp grated old cheddar. 1/2 c torn spinach leaves. 1/2 tsp dried basil.

The culinary adventures of an IBS-afflicted foodie. 1/2 tbsp garlic-infused oil. 3 tbsp gluten-free flour. 1 28 oz can of diced tomatoes, with liquid. 1 156 ml pure tomato paste. 1/2 tbsp white vinegar. 1 tsp dried basil. 1 tsp dried oregano. 1 c lactose-free milk. Heat oil and butter in pot over medium heat. Once heated, whisk in 1 tablespoon of flour at a time. The flour will create a thick paste. Whisk in diced tomatoes until flour paste has dissolved. Transfer soup to blender and blend until smooth.

I have decided that I will be starting to test some foods after the end of this week (just re-introducing in time for Thanksgiving! 2 c gluten free rolled oats. 1/2 c dried cranberries. 1/3 c walnut pieces. 1/2 c chia seeds. 2 tbsp cocoa powder. 1/2 c coconut oil. 1 tbsp vanilla extract. 1/4 c maple syrup. 1/3 c natural peanut butter.
