Row, row, row your erg. Row 5k for time! We hurriedly got in a Thanksgiving workout:. Press-tried 87 lbs, couldn't complete, dropped to 80 lbs. 15 push presses (45 lbs). We both lost count.but it hurt. Run 1 mile (or maybe 1600 yards.not sure.). Ken and the balls. Ken kicked butt in the 30 degree temps! Ken=5, 30 lbs.

Journal of Ken and Rachel's crossfit workouts. 5 rounds for time, team style (Ken and I were a team). 50 m weighted lunges (K-35 lb kb, R-subbed waiter carry of 35 lb kb above head and 53 hanging in other hand). 50 m weighted lunge. 30 squats (R-subbed 15 53 lb kb swings). Alternate between team members (each going 5 rounds); time 49:02. Look ma, I can squat! I took a chance and decided to do a workout using legs; in fact everyone's favorite: thrusters.

I could have poked my eye out for not getting 30, but my hands were failing and my last attempt was not a full pullup. Next time. Rachel and Ken's CrossFit Workouts Corvallis, OR. Journal of Ken and Rachel's crossfit workouts. I joined in for a small outside class run by Josh and Kate Bridges who have recently started running some outside classes a few days a week on campus. It was good to meet them. 10 55lb kettlebell thrusters. I bagged out after 6 rounds deciding it was a good enough re-entry after 6-8 weeks of slothdom and no exercise. Based on today I'm glad I made that call. Forgot my time 18: and change I think.

For the GPP athlete, constantly varried, functional movements, done at high intensity, 3x/week plus some recovery days and a steady state endurance day in there, is the absolute best thing they could be doing!
