The Remains of my Day: December 2011
http://remains-of-my-day.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
The Remains of my Day. Thursday, December 29, 2011. I want to live in a yurt. There, I said it. This is not the time to tell me that its impractical or uncomfortable. I don't want to hear it. I just want to have my yurt fantasy. I want to live in a yurt with a nice porch. And a good internet connection. Something like this will do:. For candy houses this year, I made a candy yurt. My fantasy yurt would be best if it were, in fact, made of pretzels and had hershey kisses for solar arrays.

Confessions of a Parenting Book Junkie: Well, hello stranger!
http://parentbookjunkie.blogspot.com/2009/06/well-hello-stranger.html
Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Well, hello stranger! While I wait for the iPhone 3.0 software to download, I thought I'd drop by and say hullo. Hullo! It's 11:00, and I really should be heading to bed, but things have been preventing reasonable bedtimes, and blog posts, for several weeks now. Here's a quick catch up. Mike and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary! A dermatologist asked me if I still had my uterus! My response: does the one back home in my other pants count? More on that next.

Confessions of a Parenting Book Junkie: Does the one in my other pants count?
http://parentbookjunkie.blogspot.com/2009/06/does-one-in-my-other-pants-count.html
Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Does the one in my other pants count? Since my birthday, I've become good friends with my insurance company. It changed in January, and I thought I was on top of those changes, but sadly not so much. The allergist said "see a dermatologist. You're a grown woman for cryin' out loud!
