Ellie Langley - PAPER...: A tree is a perennial woody plant...
http://ellielgraphicdesign.blogspot.com/2011/02/tree-is-perennial-woody-plant.html
Ellie Langley - PAPER. TEARFOLD.RIP.CREASE.CUT. Tuesday, 1 March 2011. A tree is a perennial woody plant. BUT today it is a perennial PAPER plant! The first thing I tried is just a simple 'cartoon' style tree, which is a very straight forward way. I believe this is how I used to draw trees when I was younger! This, of course, is a tree with leaves! So I tried cutting out a tree with branches, that wasn't too complicated! Of course, not really helpful or relevant for my project. But still good. One slit h...

Ellie Langley - PAPER...: Excitement...
http://ellielgraphicdesign.blogspot.com/2011/03/excitement.html
Ellie Langley - PAPER. TEARFOLD.RIP.CREASE.CUT. Sunday, 6 March 2011. While looking at some of my fellow student's blogs, I came across an artist that a few people have used for inspiration. Su does these amazing paper sculptures, using old books at her base. They caught my eye mainly because of the trees of course. but I just love this style. I absolutely LOVE these! It's like each one tells it's own story! The trees have been done beautifully, and stand up quite perfectly! Sunday, March 06, 2011.

Paper Paper Paper: So not as easy as it sounds!
http://bpgraphicdesign.blogspot.com/2011/03/so-not-as-easy-as-it-sounds.html
Wednesday, 9 March 2011. So not as easy as it sounds! So i tried out the wet folding technique and found it is A LOT harder than i thought. I think the main problem was that i had my heart set on being able to produce something as amazing as Richard Sweeney. This didn't really go as hoped! 65279;Even after experimenting with several models i couldn't create the shapes i was hoping for. Richard Sweeney obviously has a secret ingredient he's just not letting out! Here are a couple of my best attempts.

DanielleRose..: Time for some action!
http://danielle-pilkington.blogspot.com/2011/03/time-for-some-action.html
Sunday, 6 March 2011. Time for some action! Due to my lack of self managing my time adequately, I had a huge scare when I was informed of the changed deadline for our final sculpture, so was pretty relieved once it was moved back (phew). BUT now I am really cracking on with my idea's. I am also starting on task 2 at the same time just because time is running out! I am not sure if I will be using my final sculpture in the poster, as I am wanting to. Incorporate the text needed using paper. The one and only.

Gurtekh's Graphic Design: February 2011
http://gurtekh.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 23 February 2011. Task 2: 100years of GF Smith Paper. Experimenting with Type Again. I experimented again using Type. I wanted to create Type using paper, instead of using text from the computer. I first started out by cutting out the letters of the information needed on the poster. Which is, 100 years of GF Smith Paper, including the museum and the date of the anniversary. Each letter is drawn in a 5cm by 5cm box. Task 2: 100years of GF Smith Paper. Experimenting with Type. Because the poster...

Gurtekh's Graphic Design: May 2011
http://gurtekh.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, 1 May 2011. What I have learnt: Softwares. Overall I'm really happy with my final animation and I've loved doing Print to Pixel. I've learnt some valuable skills from this project and hope to carry on this type of graphics in future projects. Here is a screen shot of me combining together all the scenes and the music. I had to adjust the timing of some of the scenes just so it could fit in the 20-30 second time margin. Final Scene: Baby Bird. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Doncaster, United Kingdom.

Sunday, 1 May 2011. Final Scene: Baby Bird. Here is my development, which shows my workings on the final few frames of my animation. This is the final outcome for the scene before the actual ending of the animation. And this is the next scene straight after. Same principles however the bird parents joins the baby bird. Gurtekh's Graphic Design: Scene 5- There Love
http://gurtekh.blogspot.com/2011/04/scene-5.html
Friday, 29 April 2011. Scene 5- There Love. Here I've demonstrated my development by screen shots. Showing the main parts on how I come to making this scene. I started by drawing when the wings join together and trying to figure out how to blend the colours so as the frames progress it'll turn pink and into the heart. This is the final outcome from all the frames used in scene 5 of my animation. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Doncaster, United Kingdom. View my complete profile. Meaning in a animation.
