Friday, October 29, 2010. My baby turns 1! Charlotte turned 1 on October 17th. I'm not too sure how I feel about her being a year old. I love my baby girl and I don't want her to grow up! Charlotte started walking a few weeks before she turned 1, but she still prefers to crawl. She is the happiest baby we have ever had. She is also the most talkative! She loves to clap and make noises with her mouth. Whenever somebody turns on the vacuum she speed crawls straight for it. She loves to chase it! 21 Read 35...

Thursday, July 29, 2010. We weren't in Utah to celebrate Pioneer Day, but we did have a lot of fun here in Texas! Some of Dave's co-workers had a little shindig on a lake for the day. Ummm. . .can you say fun? It was absolutely gorgeous. The lake was actually a dammed up part of a river. And it was the perfect temperature. The kids had a blast and swam in the water almost the entire time. There was a rope swing that Dave had some serious fun with! A beautiful place to spend the day. Swim, swim, swim.

Friday, January 14, 2011. For McKay's birthday party we had a Jedi Training Party. The first activity was a physical training with Yoda. The kids had to haul Yoda around on their backs as they ran through the swamp, balanced on one foot, jumped and ducked over objects. Young Jedi trainee Charlotte formed a particularly strong bond with Yoda (pictures to come at a later date). Even Master Divad joined in to help destroy the Death Star. Tuesday, November 10, 2009. The last few weeks. We've had an eventful few weeks. It started with baby Charlotte of course. We had an extended stay in the hospital because she was Coombs Positive, which is an extreme case of jaundice. She was in the NICU for a few days with light therapy and then when her levels were stabilizing we were able to take her home and continue light therapy for a few more days. Then everyone got the flu for a week. (Except for me and Charlotte, thank goodness). 3 of 52 (5%).

Here are a few photos - although none of her during the play and only one after because photography was not allowed. :(. She did a great job - the kid has a future in show biz. It was fun to se her in character and to hear her director rave about her talent. Ashley usually does comedy improv at a club in Scottsdale, but this was a new venue for her and she was just FAB!

Keekeejon and benjamin too". Monday, November 10, 2008. Can I just say that I love - love - love - love this time of year. I love all the holiday cheer and all the cooler weather. Nothing is better than cuddling under a thick down comforter, sipping hot chocolate and watching a bonafide chick flick (Bridget Jones, Love Actually or Rattle and Hum). I do miss the snow and the changing leaves, but it is now cold enough to wear a sweater and not just in the freezing air conditioned building in which I work!
