Monday, December 28, 2009. Back in my previous post I had talked about hosting Christmas Eve for the very first time for the Bruchanski side of the family (my mom's side). We have been prepping the house for weeks! Wednesday night I had my 'helper' come over and set up the dinner table. Thanks to Amanda S. my table was beautiful! Monday, March 30, 2009. Well, things have been pretty quiet around the Conkey. House the last few weeks and that is a good thing! So, I decided to take this opportunity to share with you a little bit about one of my hobbies. I love to make cards. The whole process for me to make "one" card is usually a long one. I have to admit that I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to making cards. I love pouring over. Why 2 weeks you might ask? Yes, this is the one that I hand stitched! Little Lambs Art Show.

Friday, June 24, 2011. It was "Time to Dance". For the last 5 days its been "Time to Dance." That was the theme of this year's recital. It's a crazy week for us, but truthfully, I love it. I love having to be super organized to get everything together. I love being backstage with Kaylee to help her change 13 times, often in under 5 minutes. I love watching her dance. Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Reaction Dance Force 2012. Our last dance competition for the season was May 19. Almost a full month ago! Time flies and with three kids it seems like we are ALWAYS busy. But for my loyal 8 readers, I wanted to post the results of that last competition. The other 2 groups Kaylee is in both took Elite Gold. Progressions, the Ballet number also took 2nd Overall and a Technique Award. In their Duet, Kaylee and Shelby received a Gold and 1st Overall in the Teen Duet Category. Next u...

Friday, September 9, 2011. Kaylee's had a couple rough weeks of dental work. 2 weeks ago she got impacted molars extracted and ajusted. Last week she got wisdom teeth removed and this week she got the top braces put on. On the way to the Orthodontist I said. "Let's go make your beautiful smile even prettier." Monday, November 14, 2011. I'm feeling a bit nostalgic about Max's birthday. He turned 5 yesterday. The party was great. Most of the little boys from his class at church were able to attend. Everyone had a good time. No tears, no fighting. YPAC Dual Meet 11/12/2011. Nate had his best swim meet yet on Saturday. He finished in 1st place in every race and had personal best times in every one of them! Tuesday, June 8, 2010. We have had a very busy May around the Conkey. The days have been filled with school activities, BBQ's. Friends' birthday parties, soccer for Ian, swim lessons for the girls, dance practices, recitals, preschool graduation and camping! I am tired just writing all of it! A few weeks ago the girls had their dance recital. Kaelyn. Danced in 4 numbers and Sami. Danced in 3. I am happy to report that everybody danced in all of their dances! Of course, wanted to be a beautiful ballerina!
