Monday, 27 June 2011. Rwanda Journal, Entry 44: The Amavubi Juniors. Like most countries outside North America, Rwanda is a football (soccer) nation. The game is bred in the bone of thousands of the country's children. In the way Canadian kids skate and puck-handle, Rwandan kids learn to dribble and shoot. On any give...

Writing life a breath a time…. April 16, 2011. I do not want to see it all through the lens of what happened in 1994. Sometime in April, Rwanda became a place that I would love to forget when I land there. There are so many similarities, yet so much more that was insane about Rwanda, that it should take an accepting heart to suck it all in and declare to themselves that its okay, and a new day. Friday, February 17, 2006. One more before the weekend. I didn’t think I was going to get to post anything today, but I have some time so here you go. Then there is some sweet to balance out the sour. I was headed east on Interstate 80 and the sun was making its way up. The wind had kicked up big clouds of snow that seem to float in the air and linger for a while. The sun was hitting these little clouds in such a way that it was reflecting the orange and red light. It was gorgeous. Ramblings of a douche.
