Andrew, Rani, Claire and Drake. Wednesday, March 24, 2010. The only thing worse than a long cold winter is a long cold winter without much pretty snow to even show for it. My Weather Channel App has become a bit of an obsession with me lately. I check it many, many times a day just hoping for that magical number of at least 60 with a little sun next to it. I am ready for spring! So are my kids and the freedom of the outdoors. Here's to this wonderful time of year and our pale, sunshine-needing skin.

Andrew, Rani, Claire and Drake. Friday, April 30, 2010. Fun Day at Lagoon. During Andrew's last trip out of town, the kids and I treated ourselves to a fun day at Lagoon with my sisters and their kids. Both Drake and Claire loved it so much, we ended up getting season passes. Claire has no fear of rides and was totally bummed when she wasn't tall enough to go on the BIG rides, even with her 2 inch wedge flip flops :).
