The first year was while he was still in the NICU. His primary nurse Marjan got it for him while he was very sick recovering from his second surgery. He had his last Parent/ Tot swim lesson the first Tuesday (Erin usually took him, but I went in with him). He. was. a. mess! Zach woke up the FOLLOWING Sunday at 2 AM crying about the ball incident.
