Photography: Explorative Portraits 2nd Draft

http://drewphotoemma.blogspot.com/2013/05/explorative-portraits-2nd-draft.html

Thursday, May 2, 2013. Explorative Portraits 2nd Draft. For this draft i tried to focus on lighting alot more. some of my previous pictures were off and blurry because i was not in the right lighting. I also payed attention to my angle and how the shadows were incorporated into them. many of these picture became stronger when i was editing them and black and white made them even stronger. Photography: April 2012

http://drewphotoemma.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html

Monday, April 30, 2012. Emily uses negative space in a unique way while allowing the foreground to become prominent. Her perspective on her subjects shows emotion and another side to them you would not see normally. Isaac’s photos appear surreal once he is finished with them, a result of his careful and creative editing process. He manipulates the look and feel of a photo through various effects and in the end they seem to hold a hidden message behind them. Haley has a sense of repetition and pattern in ...

http://drewphotokyle.blogspot.com/2013/02/sketchbook-style-experimenting.html

Friday, February 1, 2013. This week, I wanted to experiment with a style of repetition and depth. I also edited by using curves to edit the saturation and lighting, something I have just gotten into the habit of doing with my photographs. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Plan for the Week. Drew Photo Lian: August 2012

http://drewphotolian.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html

Thursday, August 30, 2012. All these photos I took while walking around the neighborhood. My goal was to capture the unrecognizable landmarks we see everyday, and capture them in a different perspective. In my second photo I tried to get up close to the gate from a side view angle to capture the feel and texture of the gate. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Instead I decided to focus on other pieces of nature. Thursday, April 23, 2015. In this draft I tried to capture aspects around the wave instead of focusing on the main subject itself. I Was not able to get as many photos as I wanted since my SD Card broke and had around 8 more good photos on it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Wednesday, January 11, 2017. This series, in a way, epitomizes my everyday life and consists of things I see on a day to day basis. Although some images are more straightforward than others, they all have realistic aspects to them. I tried to take up different angles for everyday objects and put a different perspective on them than normal. The borders were chosen carefully to emphasize each individual picture. 8719;I∏∆. Monday, March 10, 2014. Over the summer, I took many photos of wildlife animals, especially in Yellowstone National Park. Thursday, May 16, 2013. These photos are from 'Best Of' Series. I picked the best photos from my 'Landscape' Series, my 'Sea Life' Series, and my 'Reflections' Series. I think that each one of these images are unique because they each have vibrant colors and have a sense of calmness to it. Enjoy! Monday, May 13, 2013. Thursday, May 2, 2013. Wednesday, May 25, 2016. These are my best of spring photos! Not only are they all my favorites but they also are very cohesive. I like the clear, sharp, black photos. They all illustrate expression and emotions, those are my favorite things to capture in photography after all! These are my self portraits! I put them in black and white to create cohesiveness, and create a strong contrast! Friday, May 20, 2016. I like the 8th one down the best because the light adds a really nice touch. Enjoy! Wednesday, May 25, 2016. To do this I got someone to take pictures of me with elements of architecture to create interesting shapes in the background. To add variety, each photo is taken at a different distance and angle, but all photos are cohesive because they are portraits of me. I edited these photos into black and white and increased the contrast to add interest and to exaggerate the interesting architectural shaped that permeate every image. Friday, May 20, 2016.
