Kylie loved her pony ride and Alex couldn't get off fast enough. They weren't to sure of the big slide at first but once it was done they were super excited! Then we finished the day with a healthy dinner of corn dogs and elephant ears #parentsoftheyear. Loving these summer moments! We took the kids to open gym to try gymnastics, SUCCESS!

Living the Good Life :). Thursday, May 7, 2015. Oh how much has changed in a year! Last summer Alex screamed in the pool and Kylie.well Kylie's face was this:. I guess you could say she was not impressed! Florida was better when they were 8 months, they were ok splashing a bit but had a short attention span. Last weekend it was gorgeous so we pulled out Mavs pool (sorry buddy! And filled it up. Mav went crazy and jumped right in. This got Alex and Kylie interested! They got in and finally looooved it!

Living the Good Life :). Sunday, November 30, 2014. We had a great Black Friday in Michigan. I spent the morning making Thanksgiving dinner with Ed's mom so we could have our Thanksgiving with them. After that the kids had some play time and then napped. They have discovers the piano and looove it! Morning nap with Grammy while mom made side dishes. After naps we went into town to do the Carousel. We were pleasantly surprised to find live reindeer too! With the kids first reindeer. He loves his horse!

I signed up as an assistant teacher, but I got to teach four times by myself since the main teacher couldn't make those nights. I was really nervous the first time I had to do it myself. Then, afterwards, I realized I did a good job - and I had fun with those kids! I did learn a lot about those first graders, and a lot about myself by doing this.

Sunday, June 12, 2011. After Jacki and Katie's trip, we wanted to go camping in the beautiful spring time weather! BUT we also wanted to do a bunch of other things, so we decided to have all the best parts of camping but stay at home. Saturday night we made a fire and enjoyed S'mores and Margaritas in our Alite camping chairs. The weather was nice (50s) but Alee was still a little cold.and decided that Ed's lap would be warmer. (Ed's lap which was in a tiny little chair.). Fire in our little fire pit.
