Our Literacy this week | edmundwaller4b

https://edmundwaller4b.wordpress.com/2015/01/16/our-literacy-this-week

4B's lovely blog. Our Literacy this week. Asymp; Leave a comment. In literacy this week we have been looking at Jules Verne’s novel. Around the World in Eighty Days. The children have really enjoyed getting to know the rather peculiar character of Phileas Fogg. Using a combination of drama and language work, they have begun to produce some fantastic writing in role. Larr; Previous post. Next post →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. March 18, 2015. April 17, 2015. We have been carefully observing grotesques and through our art work we have been reproducing them through different mediums. To begin with we explored light and shadows using charcoal and then applied our new shading techniques to produce our own grotesques. Finally we used our new skills to sculpt our very own grotesques. We then used this experience to write explanation texts in English. This slideshow requires JavaScript. March 18, 2015. Rocks, Fossils, Soils Topic.

Giving you a flavour of life in 3S. 3S Evacuation to Kent Countryside. 3S started their “Dig for Victory” WW2 topic by being evacuated to Horton Kirby. In the time there, the evacuated children were billeted with new families, experienced an “air-raid”, took cover in the playground shelter and played a variety of outdoor games which were popular during the Second World War. It was a great experience which will feed the children’s learning! This slideshow requires JavaScript. April 17, 2015. March 5, 2015.
