Elder and Sister Gates: The Miracle of the Congolese Driver's License...

http://elderandsistergates.blogspot.com/2013/06/the-miracle-of-congolese-drivers-license.html

Monday, June 17, 2013. The Miracle of the Congolese Driver's License. Posted by Kriss Gates. Ok I have a special story that happened a couple of weeks ago. 5 weeks ago, Ed was given his Congolese driver’s license the night we arrived. It was a huge missionary blessing for something little, but very, very important. I am grateful that I have learned to listen to the still small voice, even if it something as simple as "fill a bucket with water.". September 2, 2013 at 2:30 PM. Congo Kinshasa Mission Blogs.

Elder and Sister Gates: Saying Goodbye

http://elderandsistergates.blogspot.com/2014/11/saying-goodbye.html

Monday, November 3, 2014. Posted by Kriss Gates. It was really time to go home. We had such strong mixed emotions! The hardest thing was to say our farewells to the orphans. If the country allowed you to take them out of the DRCongo, we probably would have taken 3 home with us (many are not adoptable). At least we knew we had made a huge difference in their lives. We will treasure these memories all our lives, and we are grateful to have had this magical 17 months in Kinshasa. Congo Kinshasa Mission Blogs.

They either work for the church or the US embassy. We started with balloons and visiting. However, Ed was the Hero of the Day. The children o...
