After attending the Bismarck North Dakota seminary graduation, we said, “We must record this wonderful event and the feelings we have on this precious moment.” Along with that statement we also promised to write an update of our mission. We changed our travel schedule because of a Zone Conference in the middle of the week and a youth activity in Williston today. And we had a good chance to talk to them, plus watch the team play. We felt it was a miracle to connect with all of them. The Lord blesses us EVERY day. Trench coat, short wool coat, or long coat? That's the news from North Dakota - life in the Vast lane.

The store while visiting family in Phoenix, AZ. I was shopping alone. And spent an hour and a half. In the store. It is an fashion accessory boutique. Purses, hats, scarves, wallets, earrings, necklaces, rings, shoes, etc etc. If I had been wearing different shoes. I probably could have stayed longer. It is a fabulous. They are in 20 states.

So Laura and I drove over to Provo for the shower. Liz flew down from Seattle and Sydney drove up from California so we could all be there. Lu, Liz and I shared a hotel room in Provo and had a wonderful time! It was so wonderful to see everyone and have a fun break. Here are some pictures I took with my new camera. Sign language (ASL) through the local Community College. I worked the system at the high school to get off 1st and 2 nd. Period for those classes that were held after school. (If you know me, you understand that getting the mornings off is vital, because I don't work well in the morning, which always makes me late.) I LOVED ASL! Sign language. That was ok.

Jarom and Katie Walz. Monday, September 20, 2010. That past week has been full of fun changes for us. Last Monday we bought a new car! We traded in our TL for a 2010 VW GTI. It is white, 4-door, with 18" wheels, turbo and, my personal favorite, plaid seats! We are very excited about it! As part of the deal, we are getting a sun roof put in on Tuesday (tomorrow) and the windows tinted the next Monday. It gets really good gas milage, so Jarom really wants to go on a car trip to see how it travels.

The people of the surrounding Pueblos (Towns) are preparing to evacuate. They have already moved all of the animals out of these towns. Also, the ash from the volcano is killing the crops.
