Fall is definitely in the air, but another sign is that Institute and Seminary classes have started again. This past week the Perm branch held an opening social for the participating young adults. They have a forested area very close by that has an aerial course where the kids go from tree to tree about 3 stories up, No, neither Elder Pocock nor I felt inclined! Here are the braves souls.

Sunday, June 3, 2012. Zion and Bryce Canyon Family Vacation. We decdied to take a different family vacation this year. We love to be outdoors and wanted to do some hiking so thought Southern Utah would be a great place to go. On our way to Zion Park we stopped at Cove Fort to have lunch and get a tour . It was worth the stop. Brenna loves to pose for the camera. Parker being totally amazed by the view (haha- had to throw this one in just for fun.dont' know why he is making this face).

Wednesday, October 31, 2012. We have had quite the fun time around here the past 2 months. Dressing up for Halloween. Parker-gunfighter, Trevor-lion tamer, Brenna-cheerleader. Parker came up with his own costume. I thought it was so cute. Someone got asked to the Harvest Dance at school. We grew some of our own pumpkins this year. The vine took over our whole side yard and we only got 2 pumpkins out of it. Brenna got the seed at school so this was fun for her to grow some pumpkins. Swimming the 50 free.

Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Taylor graduated from high school last week. We are so excited for him. He has been fantastic student and graduated with the highest academic honors given at the school. We were very fortunate to have both sets of Grandparents here to help celebrate. Thanks for making the effort to be here with us Grandmas and Grandpas! So proud of him! It is not her actual birthday but this is the designated day set aside to honour her. Four of us senior missionary couples – Perron, Brereton, Wallace, and Fugal – took advantage of the holiday to travel north to the Puhoi Café and Cheese Factory for lunch and then to travel south to visit the Wood Carver. This is the last week of Institute classes before semester break.

This morning in the Schindler household (in Alaska) you would see Baldur wrapping presents (an unusual activity for him), and Nancy making rolls for the Young Adult Christmas dinner.
