Welcome to Our World. Stay as long as you want. Friday, August 19, 2011. Andrew and I had the opportunity to go to Mackinac Island last weekend. Very exciting! We were also able to take a trip to my mom's house for a long weekend. That was nice too. We hadn't been down in a while and I was missing everyone, A LOT! The weather couldn't have been more perfect the entire time. My mom has a garden, and it.is.huge! Such a smart little guy. ;). And they lived in the same town as us! He is doing really good tho...

Saturday, August 24, 2013. A Deployment Day Story. The day he left we headed down to the pier around 6am. We had breakfast on base at McDonalds before dropping him off. Jake surprised the girls with stuffed Battle Buddies, bears in military uniform that are handed out to children with deployed parents. It was a nice surprise and helped to lift the mood a little bit. Monday, February 20, 2012. So now that I am officially "full term" we have begun counting down to the big arrival. While the exact time and date is of course a mystery, we are pretty confidant that Noa will be making an early appearance. We have already had one false alarm! So as of last Wednesday I was already at a two and I am anxious to see where I am tomorrow when I visit my midwife. I am very excited to welcome our little one into our family, but I know that I am really going to miss my baby bump!

The 11 year old Scout patrol took a hike last Saturday, but it was mostly a family affair with James and Stuart; Andrew, Austyn, and Hudson; non-member (of the family) Tristin Clark; me and Buddy. Sunday, June 12, 2011. As of Friday, school is out for the year. Yay! Austyn was happy to be done for the year. Also, this was his last year in elementary school. Next year, it's off to middle school already. That's crazy to me. I can't believe how old he is getting, or how old I am getting! Next year it's on to boy scouts!
