BAC - Distance Masters Program. Tuesday, April 1, 2008. Found this letter on the web, thought you would all enjoy it. Dear Mr. Architect:. Keep in mind that the house I ultimately choose must cost less than the one I am currently living in. Make sure, however, that you correct all the deficiencies that exist in my current house (the floor of my kitchen vibrates when I walk across it, and the walls don't have nearly enough insulation in them). Please don't bother me with small details right now. Your ...

Architectural Theory: Delving into Duncan....
http://mich-singleton.blogspot.com/2008/01/landscape-taste-as-symbol-of-group.html
BAC - Distance Masters Program. Wednesday, January 9, 2008. After reading Susan Bickfords article, this article by James Duncan was a breath of fresh air! I found this article to be extremely interesting - and it made me think of the towns that I have lived in, and how this situation not only occurs in Bedford Village, but also in other small and large towns across the country. To keep themselves separated by one another. For such a small town, that notion, to me, is amazing! Wednesday, January 09, 2008.

BAC - Distance Masters Program. Monday, January 21, 2008. Where am I going now? Photo: (from boston.com). Chatham Break - Comparison from July to August 2007 - Erosion after major storm is evident. Photo: (from wickedlocal.com). Houses on the outer beach are in danger of being demolished by the sea. My concern is that houses are being built along the coastline, then years later, fall into the ocean. Is there a way to build a house that can be moved back from the coastline as it erodes away? Nevermind, it...

History & Theory: abstract

Sunday, February 10, 2008. This paper is about the lack of local amenities in Las Vegas, a highly commercialized city. I have been researching what in fact there is to do in Las Vegas, one main focus has been what is there outside of the casinos; strip or otherwise. Books have been far and between for research and the internet has good information. Resources have almost been limited to the internet, local magazines, and local weekly papers. Nicholas Graal Arch Theory Skewed Spring 2008. Monday, January 21, 2008. After visiting Cambridge 7 's office, the intangible became evident. How the office is organized/built (the built environment) effects the overall studio culture of the firm. To go further, the studio culture effects how people perceive going to work. To go even further, the studio culture and how people perceive going to work, effects the quality of output. (Output the services rendered to our consultants). Why does this matter?

Saturday, February 9, 2008. A Long Abstract. But it Works. You sir… your time starts now! So what is it about a third place that continually brings people back? With all of this being considered, how could a city or community be developed around a third place type of environment? Dang it… I went over. Chad R. Kohler. All I can say is "wow". The direction your paper has taken is really quite amazing. Hearing about your topic 3 weeks ago (has it been that long? February 9, 2008 at 7:50 PM. A Long Abstract&...
